"And the 'Dark Tactician's Hand' emerged from the creaking coffin..."--Chris Harrington
This time, a picture, well know from the famous 1960's creepy Soap Opera "Dark Shadows." Another part of my childhood, I'll have to write a follow-up on the Nostalgia Blog. I have the Soap Opera in my Library, which now has Dark Alder Book Shelves, over 400 Books, Western Films, Horror Films, Sherlock Holmes (Basil Rathbone), Dark Shadows (the 1960's Soap Opera), and various other films and documents deemed worthy. A recent addition was 'Casablanca' with Humphrey Bogart, a classic! The Library is finally orderly and all in one place now, after the initial chaos of moving.
On the Chess Front, I will begin playing tournament Chess again next week, playing my first game at the University of Kansas Chess Club. I will also be playing from time to time in Kansas City, MO.
The blog will undergo some changes, as I like my posts to be a collection of the things I do well rather than a mix of good, bad and otherwise. Therefore, like one's chess game, one must always scrutinize, in order to achieve better and better results.

I have Chris Harrington to thank for this post. He noticed I had been gone for some time and so came up with some creepy thoughts of his own (apparently, he's not just digging in the dirt).
And so, the 'Dark Shadows' post is with us. For a some time now, it has been a well kept secret in my mind concerning this 1960's soap opera. I now have it in its entirety in my library. Dark Shadows ran for 5 years.
I have more information on the soap opera at the 'Nostalgia' blog.
Here, I am merely keeping the faithul and what followers I do have up to date.
